Drug Offences At Stanthorpe

Police have charged a 29-year man with multiple drug offences following the search of a Stanthorpe property yesterday, June 8.

Around 9.45am officers from Stanthorpe CIB and State Flying Squad, executed a search warrant at a Harris Street address locating and seizing a quantity of cannabis, methamphetamines, and cannabis plants.

Officers also seized other drug paraphernalia including utensils.

A 29-year-old Stanthorpe man has been charged with eight offences including possessing dangerous drugs and possess property suspected of having been acquired for the purpose of committing a drug offence.

He is due to appear in the Stanthorpe Magistrates Court today.

Investigations continue.
