Northern Territory Police have arrested and charged man with drug offences after a routine traffic stop south of the town yesterday.
A search of the vehicle being driven by the man located 54 kilograms of cannabis, a prohibited weapon and a number of drug implements.
The 41-year-old man was charged with:
- Supply schedule 2 drug - commercial quantity
- Possess schedule 2 drug - commercial quantity
- Possess prohibited weapon
- Possess thing to administer
He was remanded in custody to appear in Alice Springs Local Court on Monday 20 December.
