Drug supply ring dismantled, woman charged, NSW

Police have charged a woman following an investigation into the alleged supply of MDMA in the state’s central west, NSW Police say.

Strike Force Warradale was established by detectives from Castlereagh Local Area Command in May 2016 to investigate by the supply of prohibited drugs within the Coonamble area.

Since the formation of the strike force, detectives have arrested three people, including a 22-year-old woman at Sydney International Airport, about 7.30am yesterday.

The woman was taken to Mascot Police Station and charged with knowingly take part in the supply of a prohibited drug.

She was granted conditional bail to appear at Waverley Local Court on Wednesday 28 September 2016.

Investigations are ongoing.
