A 25-year-old man has been charged after police discovered drugs, cash and associated equipment in a short-term rental house at Kelvin Grove yesterday morning.
It will be alleged that stacks of cash, totalling around $65,000, a money counter, a cryovac machine, mobile phone and around 10kgs of cannabis, in vacuumed sealed bags were located in the house.
The house had allegedly been rented short term by a man who then contacted the owners to extend his stay. The property was searched after the man's request was denied, based on information received by police.
The man was identified and arrested in the area a short time later.
