Drugs and cash seized during Wantirna warrant

Investigators from Croydon Divisional Tasking Unit have arrested two people today following a warrant in Wantirna.

Police forced entry to the Shetland Drive property about 5.30am and a man and woman were arrested in one of the bedrooms.

A search of the house resulted in the seizure of a large quantity drugs including what is alleged to be cannabis, cocaine, ecstasy, ketamine and prescription medication.

A knife, large quantity of cash and what is alleged to be drug trafficking paraphernalia was also located.

A 33-year-old Wantirna man has been charged with drug trafficking related offences and remanded to appear in Ringwood Magistrates' Court on 2 April.

A 31-year old Wantirna woman has been charged with drug trafficking offences and bailed to appear at the Ringwood Magistrates' Court on 26 June.
