Drugs and cash sized during Dandenong warrant

Investigators from Southern Metro Divisional Response Unit have charged a man and seized drugs, cash and stolen goods during a search warrant in Dandenong yesterday.

Officers attended a Sarona Street address as part of an ongoing investigation and arrested a 31-year-old man about 10.15am.

Police located and seized a large amount of methylamphetamine, cannabis, almost $10,000 in cash and suspected stolen goods.

The Dandenong man was interviewed and subsequently charged with traffick a commercial quantity of methylamphetamine, traffick methylamphetamine, possess methylamphetamine, possess cannabis and possess property suspected of being the proceeds of crime.

He was remanded overnight to appear before Melbourne Magistrates' Court today.
