Drugs and explosives located at Reynella, South Australia

Two men have been charged with a number of serious offences after a search at Reynella last night.

Just before 6pm Tuesday 14 September following an investigation, Southern District Detectives attended and searched an address on Breckenridge Drive.

It will be alleged inside they found five cannabis plants and equipment, illicit substances and suspected explosives. Police Bomb Response Unit attended the address last night to seize the explosives, these items will be subject to further analysis.

Two men from the address, a 32 and 33-year-old, were arrested and charged with traffic controlled drug, cultivate cannabis, possess controlled drug, possess cannabis, possess prescribed equipment. The men were bailed to appear at the Christies Beach Magistrates Court on 21 October.

Police have returned to the home today, Wednesday 15 September, to conduct a further search.
