Drugs and weapons seized in Nhill

Investigators from Horsham Crime Investigation Unit have arrested two men after police executed a search warrant this morning in Nhill in relation to a series of burglaries.

Officers executed the warrant at an address on Davis Avenue about 9.40am and allegedly recovered stolen property, weapons and illicit drugs.

The arrests are part of an ongoing investigation into a series of burglaries and thefts that have occurred in the Hindmarsh Local Government Authority since April.

A 42-year-old Nhill man was arrested and charged with a series of burglaries, thefts, firearms and weapons offences. He has been remanded to appear at the Horsham Magistrates' Court on 16 August.

A 45-year-old Nhill man was arrested and charged with burglary, theft, weapons and drug offences. He was bailed to appear at the Nhill Magistrates' court on 16 November.
