Drugs and weapons seized, investigations continue in Cromer

Police have seized drugs and weapons during a search warrant at a home on Sydney’s Northern Beaches yesterday, NSW Police say.

About 7.30am yesterday, officers from Northern Beaches Local Area Command stopped a white Holden utility on Fisher Road, Dee Why.

Police spoke to the driver, a 38-year-old man, and his passenger, a 39-year-old man, before searching them and the vehicle, where they located and seized about $5,000 cash.

Following further inquiries, about 8.15am, police executed a search warrant at a home on Toronto Avenue, Cromer.

During the search, a number of items were seized for forensic examination, including:

- About 70 tablets;

- A small amount of liquid believed to be GHB;

- A cannabis plant;

- Four replica guns; and

- Ammunition.

Investigations are continuing.
