Drugs charges following search warrant in Busby

A man has been charged with alleged drug offences following a search warrant at Busby yesterday, NSW Police say.

Just before 6pm (Wednesday 1 November 2017), officers from Green Valley Local Area Command spoke to a man on Wilson Road, Green Valley.

A subsequent search of the man and his vehicle which was parked nearby, allegedly located an amount of cannabis in several clear resealable plastic bags and cash.

The man was placed under arrest and taken to Green Valley Police Station.

A short time later, a search warrant was executed at a home on Devon Place, Busby.

Officers allegedly located more cannabis, cash and an amount of powder suspected of being cocaine.

All items were secured for forensic analysis.

The 33-year-old man was charged with possess prohibited drug (x2), supply prohibited drug and deal with proceeds of crime (x2).

He was refused bail to appear before Liverpool Local Court today (Thursday 2 November 2017).
