Drugs charges, Fortitude Valley

A man and a woman have been charged with a number of drug offences following the execution of a search warrant at an inner-city unit yesterday afternoon, Queensland Police say.

It will be alleged that around 1.30pm, officers from the Fortitude Valley Criminal Investigation Branch executed a search warrant on a Green Square Close unit and located a clandestine laboratory within the premises.

A 35-year-old man and a 38-year-old woman, both from Fortitude Valley, have been charged with two counts each of possessing dangerous drugs, and one count each of producing dangerous drugs, possessing relevant substances or things, possess utensils or pipes, and fail to properly dispose of syringe.

The pair are due to appear in the Brisbane Magistrates Court on April 11.
