A man has been charged after almost three kilograms of cannabis was seized from a property in Sydney’s south west, NSW Police say.
About 5.15pm yesterday (Thursday 1 November) officers from Police Transport Command South/South West attended a home on Canterbury Road, Punchbowl, and spoke with the resident.
During a subsequent search of the property, officers allegedly located approximately 2.9kg of cannabis.
The drugs were seized and taken to Campsie Police Station for further examination.
A 43-year-old man was arrested and charged with supplying a prohibited drug (x2), possessing a prohibited drug and possessing suspected proceeds of crime.
The man was refused bail and will appear at Bankstown Local Court on Thursday 8 November 2018.
