A man and woman have been arrested in Taylors Lakes after weapons, drugs and cash were located in their vehicle last night (8 March).
Police spotted a suspicious vehicle on Chichester Drive about 11.25pm.
When police searched the vehicle they allegedly located weapons including a knife and baton, drugs and a significant amount of cash.
A 30-year-old man and a 29-year-old woman, both of no fixed address, were arrested at the scene.
They have since been charged with drug and weapons-related offences.
Both have been remanded to appear at Melbourne Magistrate's Court on 10 March.
