Feathers, acrobatics and cheeky humour take centre stage when Circa's Duck Pond lands at Griffith Regional Theatre for a spectacular performance on Saturday 18 October 2025.
Griffith Regional Theatre Manager, Margaret Andreazza said, "This is going to be an extraordinary show. Circa is one of the world's leading performance companies, featuring some of Australia's best multi-skilled circus artists on stage!"
Created by Yaron Lifschitz and the Circa Ensemble, Duck Pond reimagines the world's most romantic ballet, Swan Lake, as a thrilling circus spectacular. Audiences will be swept away by sparkling aerials, jaw-dropping acrobatics and Circa's signature physicality, all infused with cheeky humour and contemporary energy. Expect a sequinned, flipper-wearing duck army, a mischievous burlesque black swan, and a story that is as touching as it is hilarious. A tale of swans, hapless princes, and discovering one's true self.
Based in Brisbane, Circa Contemporary Circus has captivated audiences in over 45 countries since 2004, performing to nearly two million people worldwide. Their shows have earned standing ovations, rave reviews, and sold-out houses across six continents.
"We're thrilled to bring Circa back to Griffith and theatre members can bring a friend for free to this show, that's two tickets for $40. Don't miss this unforgettable night of feathers, fun and circus magic at the Theatre," Ms Andreazza said.
Duck Pond by Circa will perform at Griffith Regional Theatre on Saturday 18 October at 7:30pm. Tickets can be purchased from the Box Office, by calling 6962 8444 or visiting www.griffithregionaltheatre.com.au
