Duo charged with Springvale street armed robbery

Police have made a swift arrest following an armed robbery in Springvale yesterday morning.

Officers responded to reports that a 27-year-old man was allegedly robbed of his belongings by three offenders, one who was in possession of a knife, on Springvale Road about 7am.

Police arrested three males nearby on Springvale Road in relation to the attack.

A 19-year-old man, of no fixed address, was charged with armed robbery and committing an indictable offence whilst on bail. He was remanded to appear at Melbourne Magistrates' Court today.

A 17-year-old Noble Park boy was charged with armed robbery and remanded to appear at a children's court.

An 18-year-old Noble Park man was released pending further investigation.
