E-bike Rider Critically Injured After Crash - Mona Vale

An e-bike rider has been critically injured in a crash on Sydney's northern beaches.

Shortly before 3pm today (Wednesday 4 December 2025), emergency services responded to reports of a crash between an e-bike and a Pantech truck on Barrenjoey Road, Mona Vale.

NSW Ambulance paramedics treated the e-bike rider – a man believed to be aged in his 50s – at the scene before he was airlifted to Royal North Shore Hospital in a critical condition.

The truck driver – a man aged in his 20s - was taken to Mona Vale Hospital for mandatory testing. He was not injured.

Officers from Northern Beaches Police Area Command have established a crime scene which is currently being analysed by specialist police from the Crash Investigation Unit.
