Police are continuing to investigate two indecent assaults in the Norwood/Toorak Gardens area and are seeking public assistance to identify the suspect.
About 8.15pm on Friday 20 February, a woman was walking on Alfred Street when she was approached from behind by an unknown man who indecently assaulted her.
In the second incident, sometime between 8.30pm and 9pm a woman was walking on Grant Avenue in Toorak Gardens near a bowling club when she was indecently assaulted by an unknown man.
In both incidents the suspect fled on foot. Neither woman was physically injured.
Police believe the same man was involved in both incidents. He is described as about 175cm tall, medium build, bald or with thinning hair, wearing an olive-coloured T-shirt and black shorts with a white logo on the left leg and white sneakers.
Detectives have today released CCTV footage of the suspect and his red hatchback that was captured in the vicinity of one of the incidents.
Anyone who recognises the man or his vehicle is urged to come forward to assist.
