An Echuca man's Sunday drive to Bunnings hit the jackpot when he took a detour to check his TattsLotto ticket - and discovered he was now on the road to riches as a brand-new millionaire.
The happy winner was among the four division one winners nationally in TattsLotto draw 4625 on Saturday 15 November 2025. All four winners were from Victoria.
Each division one winning entry scored $1,669,495.54.
Speaking to us, the Echuca resident shared how he discovered his good fortune.
"This morning, I was driving in my car to Bunnings and I just thought I'd check the numbers, so I pulled over," he said.
"When I looked, I thought, 'f**k! I've got six numbers!'. I went all fuzzy.
"I don't know, my head is still spinning.
"What's funny is I had that ticket in a previous TattsLotto draw. It didn't win, but something told me to take that ticket back and put it on again for the weekend.
"We're debt-free! It just changes everything.
"I'll pay off the house, maybe reduce the days I work and buy a new car.
"We'll celebrate! I've got some nice sausages tonight for dinner!"
The man's winning entry was purchased at Echuca Lucky Lotto, 196 Hare Street, Echuca.
Echuca Lucky Lotto owner Craig Kirk said he was thrilled to see his outlet's second division one win for 2025.
"We've sold 34 division one winning entries during the past 30 years. Selling division one winners is what we do!
"Congratulations to our latest winner. We hope the win helps make your life journey a little easier for you and your family."
