Mildura Rural City Council will host the 2025 Electric Vehicle Showcase at the Mildura Riverfront next month.
The Showcase will run in conjunction with the Sunraysia Farmers and Makers Market on Saturday 1 November, getting underway from 8am at Jaycee Park.
It will include vehicle, motorcycle and bicycle displays and opportunities to hear from local residents about their electric mobility experiences. Local residents will also have their own electric vehicles on display.
Councillor for Environmental and Sustainability Jodi Ewings encouraged residents to take advantage of the opportunity to learn more about electric vehicles, motorcycles and bicycles.
"This event is perfect for those who may be interested in making the switch to electric mobility or have simply heard about the options and want to know more," Cr Ewings said.
"One of the really helpful aspects to this event, aside from being able to explore the vehicles, motorcycles and bicycles and learn about them, is to hear first-hand experiences from, people who drive or ride them every day."
The event will also provide a chance to interact with the following organisations, which will have vehicles, motorcycles and bicycles on display:
- Deakin Motorcycles & Bicycles
- Mildura Motor Holdings
- Mildura Toyota
- North Star Motors
- Pedal Addiction
