A man has been arrested for attempt murder following a domestic incident at Elizabeth East last night, according to SA Police.
About 11.45pm on Wednesday 21 September, police were called to a house on Halsey Road after reports that a woman had been stabbed.
When police arrived they found a woman with multiple stab wounds to her chest and stomach. She was rushed to the Royal Adelaide Hospital and is in a serious but stable condition.
A 40-year-old man from Elizabeth East has been charged with attempted murder and has been refused bail. He is expected to appear in the Elizabeth Magistrates Court today.
