Elizabeth police discover a cache of stolen property in Davoren Park, SA

Police have arrested two people and recovered thousands of dollars’ worth of stolen playground equipment and other items, according to SA Police.

Acting on information received from the public, police attended a Davoren Park address on Friday 29 September where they located and seized children’s playground equipment recently stolen from a building site in the northern suburbs. They also located and seized building materials and power tools, also stolen from local building sites.

Police also seized a baton and a set of knuckledusters from the address.

Elizabeth police arrested and charged a 28-year-old man and a 26-year-old woman, both from Davoren Park, with 10 counts of theft, two counts of serious criminal trespass, unlawful possession and possession of the weapons. Both the man and woman received bail and are due to appear in the Elizabeth Magistrates court on 13 November.
