Elsternwick theft

Caulfield Police have released CCTV images as part of their investigation into a theft from an Elsternwick supermarket earlier this month.

Investigators have been told a man attended the Glen Huntly Road supermarket about 8.45am on 10 October.

The man proceeded to fill his shopping bags with baby formula, electronics and medication, before leaving the store without making any attempt to pay.

Police have released images of a man who they believe may be able to assist with their enquiries.

He is perceived to be Caucasian in appearance, about 40-years-old, clean shaven, and was wearing green sneakers, blue jeans, a multi coloured shirt and a blue disposable mask.

Anyone with information is urged to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or submit a confidential report at www.crimestoppersvic.com.au.
