An EMERGENCY ALERT has been issued at 1.06pm Tuesday 10 March, 2026 by the Bundaberg Local Disaster Management Group.

Major flooding is HAPPENING NOW at Burnett River. People in Bundaberg North, South, Central and East should LEAVE IMMEDIATELY. Bridge access to Bundaberg North closing at 3pm. Burnett River at Bundaberg expected to exceed 7.0 metres today at 3pm, rising to 7.5 metres overnight.

Stay up to date with information via ABC radio on 100.1 FM, or https://disaster.bundaberg.qld.gov.au/. Stay up to date with the latest warnings from the Bureau of Meteorology via bom.qov.au. For flood assistance, contact the SES on 132 500. In a life-threatening emergency, dial Triple-Zero (000).
