Emergency crews responding to fire, Slacks Creek

A crime scene has been declared following a fire at a Pacific Highway Service Road business in Slacks Creek this morning, May 2.

Emergency crews were called just before 2.30am to reports of large amounts of black smoke.

Two female firefighters were transported to the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital, one in a critical condition and one with serious injuries.

Motorists are asked to avoid the area as delays are expected.
