From painting, pasting and sensory play, to storytelling, singing and science – there's a diverse program for children to enjoy at Helen M Kininmonth Kindergarten in Winchelsea.

Enrolments for the Surf Coast Shire Council-run kindergarten for 2023 are now open, with families able to apply for state government funded three-year-old and four-year-old kinder programs.

"Our kindergarten program is play and nature-based, with an element of intentional teaching about topics of importance," Helen M Kininmonth Kindergarten teacher Kristie Walters said.

"Our program provides creative learning opportunities such as painting, pasting, collage, construction, sensory play, loose part creations, along with storytelling, singing and dancing, group discussions, games, literacy, numeracy and science. Care and effort is taken to provide materials in an inviting way to support their learning."
