EOI: Kiosk Lease

The Borough of Queenscliffe is seeking Expression of interest (EOI) to lease land located within the Queenscliff Recreation Reserve at 140 Hesse Street Queenscliff from Council as the Committee of Management under s17D of the Crown land (Reserves)Act 1978. The parcel of land is approximately 160m2.

  • Opportunity to operate a food and beverage kiosk in a popular location with ocean views
  • Two options: bring your own approved container or fit out a Council-owned container (at your own cost)
  • 10-year lease term, with possible option periods; anticipated site availability before end of September 2026
  • Business must be operational on or before 20 November 2026
  • Successful applicant responsible for all permits, approvals, and (if using own container) removal at lease end
  • Rental amount to be proposed by applicant, inclusive of GST, and payable monthly in advance
  • All fit out costs and compliance with the Food Act 1984 required
