Equipment and Training Grants Program 2021-22

The City of Casey is encouraging not-for profit community groups and organisations to apply for an Equipment and Training Grant.

Applications for the 2021-22 Equipment and Training Grants open Monday 5 July 2021 and close at 5.00 pm on Friday 13 August.

Valued from $100 to $1,000, the grants can be used for either purchasing equipment required to provide services or for training to help support and develop volunteers and group members.

An annual program, the grants are aimed at Casey community groups and organisations who deliver community programs and events. The grants are designed to help improve day-to-day operations by assisting groups to purchase equipment needed for services or, to further upskill and train members and volunteers.

In previous years, successful applicants have used the financial assistance for training in first aid, leadership, coaching and COVID-19, and to purchase essential items needed for services or programs such as sporting equipment, audio-visual equipment, cooking equipment and COVID-19 related equipment.
