ESA Supports Learning at Home as Coronavirus Alters Education Space

Education Services Australia

Education Services Australia has put together a range of online resources to support teachers, parents, carers and students as Australia's education community responds to the impact of COVID-19.

Demand for resources and materials to enable flexible and remote online learning has dramatically increased and Australian education is well placed to respond having invested heavily in the development of quality digital learning resources for over a decade.

Education Services Australia's CEO Andrew Smith said his organisation was committed to sharing quality digital teaching resources, as well as professional learning materials, that will sustain learning and wellbeing while students temporarily continue their education journey at home.

"The resources shared and promoted by Education Services Australia are aligned to the Australian curriculum and the Australian Student Wellbeing Framework."

"They are quality assured and freely available to all Australian teachers, parents or carers and students."

"The collection includes resources tailored to support and promote wellbeing for children and young people and to help all members of the education community to keep safe, resilient and well in this time of crisis."

To save time and effort, the resources have been separated in three categories: resources for teachers, professional learning for teachers and resources for parents.

Education Services Australia is committed to supporting systems, schools and families and will continue to add resources across all year levels and learning areas, to give children and young people the best opportunity to continue to learn at home.
