Europa Institute organises its first 'Meet Author' event

On Wednesday 2 November, the Europa Institute held its first 'Meet the Author' event. In the context of this new event series external academics come to Leiden to discuss a recent publication by their hand. The event typically starts with a conversation between a member of the Europa Institute and the author, after which the floor is open for questions from the audience.

At the event of 2 November, organized by Vestert Borger and Melanie Fink, the Europa Institute welcomed Ljupcho Grozdanovski, maître de conférences in EU law at the University of Liège. Grozdanovski works on evidence, procedural justice and new technologies in the EU. At the Europa Institute he engaged in a conversation with Melanie Fink about his article 'In search of effectiveness and fairness in proving algorithmic discrimination in EU law', which was published last year in the Common Market Law Review.
