Exeter Crash

At approximately 3.20pm on Friday 20th of August 2021, a silver Ford Falcon sedan travelling north on West Tamar Highway at Rosevears north of Bradys Lookout has lost control and come into contact with the Armco barrier.

The vehicle has continued down this barrier on the incorrect side of the road and a white Toyota Hiace van travelling south has collided with the Falcon causing significant damage to both vehicles.

As a result, the two passengers in the Falcon are deceased: A 75 year old woman who was the front seat passenger and a 45 year old man who was the rear seat passenger.

The driver of the Falcon suffered serious injuries and was transported to the LGH for further care.

The driver of the Hiace Van also suffered serious injuries and was transported to the LGH.

Crash Investigators are continuing their investigations into the circumstances surrounding the incident.

At the time of the crash it was raining and the weather conditions were poor.
