Road investigations will take place on a three-kilometre section of the Newell Highway, about two kilometres north of Narrandera, from Saturday 25 September until mid-October, weather permitting.
This work is in preparation for work on potential future overtaking lanes.
During these works northbound and southbound road lanes will be closed intermittently along the Newell Highway.
For the safety of workers and motorists, single lane closures and reduced speed limits during work hours will be in place.
Motorists are advised to drive to the conditions, and follow the direction of signs and traffic control.
