Expressions of interest sought for Sunshine Coast Voices of Harmony event

Sunshine Coast Council, in partnership with the Sunshine Coast Multicultural Network, is calling for expressions of interest to be a part of this free community celebration.

Multicultural groups and individuals are asked to start thinking about their participation now and register if they wish to be part of the event.

Cotton Tree Park will be transformed into a welcoming multicultural village with cultural hubs and activity spaces where ethnic groups can showcase their culture through sharing stories, skills and customs ‒ all designed to promote intercultural connections with our local community.

A highlight of the event will be the Voices of Harmony concert which will feature world music, community sing-a-longs, dance and a range of performances representing the colourful social fabric of the Sunshine Coast.

Local stallholders are also invited to register to provide an array of multicultural cuisines taking people on a cultural feast around the world.

The village will also host a program of workshops and traditional games which will be designed to be interactive to connect people to share, learn and appreciate our communities' cultural diversity.
