Get out your brushes and polish those palette knives, because About Face Art Group is open for business!
Hosted at Camden Civic Centre on Thursdays, 1-4pm, this friendly and inclusive collective is where local artists and makers of all skill levels can come together each week to doodle, dab, sketch and splatter in good company.
Whether you're a beginner finding your first strokes or a seasoned creator looking to mix it up, About Face is all about making art, making friends and making the ordinary extraordinary.
Mayor of Camden, Cr Therese Fedeli, said About Face Art Group was the place to put your creativity on full display and let your imagination run wild.
"Artists are encouraged to come along, connect with like-minded creatives, share ideas, swap tips and maybe even paint outside the lines," she said. "These sessions are yours to explore, experiment and express yourself without judgement.
"They're open to all skill levels with no experience necessary. The only thing required is a willingness to get messy, try something new and leave with a little more colour in your life!"
Entry is $5 per session. For more information and to plan your next arty adventure, visit camden.nsw.gov.au/cultural-development-and-arts/about-face
