Factory fire, NSW

Emergency services are at the scene of a factory fire in Sydney’s Inner West, NSW Police say.

About 11.15pm (Friday 25 May 2018), emergency services were called to Roberts Lane and Mary Street, St Peters, after reports a building was engulfed in flames.

Fire & Rescue NSW are working to extinguish the blaze.

Residents of nearby buildings have been evacuated as a precaution. There have been no reported injuries.

The cause of the fire is yet to be determined however, it’s not being treated as suspicious.

Diversions remain in place and motorists are urged to avoid the area and monitor livetraffic.com.

Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stoppers.
