In response to the devastating floods in Queensland, Farmers for Climate Action CEO Fiona Davis said:
"Our hearts are with flood-affected communities in Queensland right now.
"Increasingly frequent and extreme weather events are taking a terrible toll on our communities, including our farmers who are working hard to continue to produce food and fibre for Australia and the world.
"We are calling for deep economy-wide emission reductions this decade to protect Australian farming communities from these devastating impacts."
