A man has died after the station-wagon he was driving was involved in a collision in Shepparton North this afternoon, Victoria Police say.
Emergency services were called to Barmah-Shepparton Road about 4.10pm.
Investigators believe the white station-wagon was traveling south when it collided head-on with a north-bound silver Mercedes.
A yet to be formally identified man was treated at the scene but died.
The driver and sole occupant of the silver Mercedes, a 50-year-old Shepparton North woman, was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
The exact circumstances surrounding the incident are yet to be determined.
