Emergency services responded to a collision between a motorcycle and a car in Bentleigh East this evening.
It is believed the two collided on Tambet Street just after 7.30pm.
The yet to be formally identified rider of the motorcycle died at the scene.
The occupants of the car were not injured and stopped at the scene to assist.
The exact cause of the collision is yet to be determined at this stage.
