Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a fatal crash in Lara this morning, Victoria Police say.
Emergency services responded to reports of a car that collided with a truck on Bacchus Marsh Road at 7.30am.
The car was travelling south on Bacchus Marsh Road and it is believed it crossed over double lines before clipping the truck and rolling.
The female passenger in the car died at the scene.
The male driver has been airlifted to hospital.
The driver of the truck was not injured.
