Police are on the scene of a fatal crash at Scotts Creek near Cobden which occurred earlier this afternoon, Victoria Police say.
The crash happened on the Timboon-Colac Road just after 3pm when a car, with three occupants, left the roadway and collided with a tree.
A female passenger, who was sitting in the rear seat, died at the scene.
The male driver and female passenger were both conveyed to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The deceased woman is still to be formally identified but is thought to be an overseas tourist.
