Police are investigating a fatal, single vehicle traffic crash that occurred at Seventy Mile approximately 10km south of Charters Towers last night, Queensland Police say.
Preliminary information suggests around 8.45pm the vehicle, a utility, was travelling south along Bluff Road when it left the road and rolled a number of times.
The 23-year-old male driver was pronounced deceased at the scene.
A 19-year-old male passenger was transported and admitted to Charters Towers Hospital with minor injuries.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
