A man has died following a single-vehicle crash south of Maitland yesterday, NSW Police say.
About 5.00pm yesterday, emergency services were called to John Renshaw Drive, Beresfield, 10km south of Maitland, after a Ford Falcon hit a light pole.
As a result of the collision the 26-year-old male driver died.
Police from Central Hunter Local Area Command are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
