A man has died following a single-vehicle crash near Canowindra today., NSW Police say
The crash happened when a Nissan Pulsar hit an embankment about 11.30am today on the Cowra Road, 10 km south of Canowindra.
Officers attached to Canobolas Local Area Command attended and are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
The Nissan driver, a 78-year-old man, was injured. He was treated at the scene before being airlifted to Orange Base Hospital, where he has since died.
A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stopers.
