Approximately 4:10pm on Friday 27 April 2018 members of Tasmania Police and Ambulance Tasmania attended a single vehicle crash on Carlton Beach Road, Dodges Ferry, Tasmania Police say.
Sadly the driver and sole occupant, an 80 year old male from Lewisham, could not be revived at the scene.
Tasmania Police would like to thank members of the public who provided assistance to the male prior to the arrival of emergency services.
A report is being prepared for the coroner with preliminary investigations indicating that the male suffered an unrelated medical incident.
