A man has died following a crash in Sydney’s western suburbs today, NSW Police say.
Just before 4pm today, emergency services were called to James Ruse Drive, near the Pennant Hills Road off ramp, North Parramatta, following reports that a vehicle had crashed into a cement barrier.
A man, aged in his 60s, was treated at the scene before being taken to Westmead Hospital, however he later died.
A crime scene was established and the circumstances surrounding the incident are being investigated.
Delays are expected in the area and motorists are strongly advised to avoid the area or delay travel where possible.
A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stoppers.
