A man died in a crash at Raymond Terrace yesterday, NSW Police say.
About 6.30pm (Sunday 26 August 2018), a Holden sedan was travelling south on Adelaide Street, Raymond Terrace, when it collided with a northbound Toyota four-wheel-drive.
The driver of the Holden, a 35-year-old man, was trapped in the wreckage before being freed and taken to John Hunter Hospital, however, he was pronounced dead on arrival.
The 39-year-old female driver of the Toyota, and her teenage passenger, were treated for shock and taken to John Hunter Hospital for mandatory blood and urine tests.
Police from Port Stephens/Hunter Police District are conducting inquiries into the incident and a report will be prepared for the Coroner.
