Fatal crash south west of Dubbo

A woman has died in a single-vehicle crash near Dubbo earlier today.

Just before 9am (Monday 28 December 2020), emergency services were called to Tomingley West Road, Tomingley, about 60km south west of Dubbo, after a Holden Barina travelling west left the road and rolled several times.

The passenger, a 34-year-old woman, was ejected from the vehicle. She died at the scene.

The driver, a 33-year-old woman, was treated by paramedics before being taken to Dubbo Hospital for treatment and mandatory testing.

Officers from Orana Mid-Western Police District attended and established a crime scene which will be examined by officers from the Crash Investigation Unit.

Investigations are continuing into the circumstances surrounding the crash.
