Police will prepare a report for the Coroner following a fatal crash in the Tuggerah Lakes area today, NSW Police say.
Emergency services were called to Wallarah Road, Gorokan, about 2.50pm today, after reports a Hyundai Excel had left the roadway and hit a power pole.
The body of an 83-year-old man was located inside the car.
A dog found inside the vehicle was taken to a local veterinarian for treatment.
Inquiries into the cause of the crash are continuing and anyone with information about it is asked to call Crime Stoppers.
