Latrobe Crime Investigation Unit detectives will prepare a report for the Coroner following a fatal house fire in Neerim South this morning (19 August), Victoria Police say.
It is believed the fire started around 6am inside the Main Road home.
A 75-year-old man, and sole occupant of the house, died at the scene.
The exact cause of the fire is not known but it is not being treated as suspicious.
