Police are appealing for information following a fatal house fire in Emerald on 6 November.
At 6.48am, emergency services were called to an Opal Street address following reports that a property was on fire.
Upon arrival, the residence was fully engulfed.
The fire was extinguished shortly afterwards, and a crime scene was declared.
Following a search of the property, four people were located deceased inside.
While formal identification is ongoing, officers believe them to be a 36-year-old man, a 15-year-old girl, a one-year-old girl and a five-month-old boy from Emerald.
A 25-year-old woman and a 38-year-old woman, both from Emerald, escaped the fire and were transported to hospital for treatment.
Detective Acting Inspector Brett Richard said this had been a traumatic incident for the families involved, the community and all emergency services.
"It has been a very sad and tragic scene, and we have a lot of families gathering around to provide support to each other," Detective Acting Inspector Richard said.
"Support will be provided to the families and responding emergency services."
Police are appealing to anyone with information, CCTV or dashcam vision, particularly between 6am and 7am along Opal Street on 6 November, to come forward.
Investigations into the cause of the fire remain ongoing.
