Fatal motorbike crash, Sunnybank Hills

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating after a motorbike rider was killed in a two-vehicle traffic crash at Sunnybank Hills this afternoon, September 22.

Initial investigations indicate at approximately 12.30pm, a motorbike was travelling south along Calam Road when it hit the side of a Mitsubishi Pajero travelling in the same direction at the intersection near Celadon Street.

The rider, a 20-year-old man, was declared deceased at the scene.

The other driver, a 47-year-old Carina man, was not physically injured.

Witnesses or anyone with relevant vision is urged to contact police.

Investigations are continuing.
